Yearn For Jesus - Evaluate Relationship During Advent
PENAMPANG(CS).- The four-week liturgical Season of Advent is a time for every Catholic to evaluate their personal relationships with Jesus Christ and be vigilant in conjunction with the upcoming Christmas.
To begin Nov 30, Advent is a special time in the church's calendar where we train ourselves to wait and yearn for the coming of our Lord, said Bishop Cornelius Piong (of the Diocese of Keningau), adding, let us each evaluate our personal relationship with Jesus.
Meanwhile, in his message, Bishop John Lee of the Diocese of Kota Kinabalu said, "Unless Jesus Christ is someone absolutely important to us, our vigils and Advents will be meaningless."
