Mill Hill Brothers (MHM)
Founded in England in 1866 by Cardinal Herbert Vaughan for the missions. Pioneers Msgr Thomas Jackson (2nd Prefect Apostolic), Frs Edmund Dunn (3rd Prefect Apostolic), Aloysius Goossens and Daniel Kilty arrived in Borneo in 1881 when the present Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah formed one ecclesial province now divided into one archdiocese and four dioceses.

Brothers of the Christian Schools (La Salle Brothers)
Founded in France by St John Baptist de La Salle in 1680 for youth education. Pioneers Brs Charles O'Leary, Thomas Carney and Raphael Egan arrived in Jesselton (now Kota Kinabalu) in January 1958. FSC stands for "Fratum Scholarum Christianarum", which means "Brothers of the Christian Schools" in Latin.

Sisters of the Discalced Carmelite Order (OCD)
Traced its roots to Mt Carmel in Israel in the 13th century but reformed by St Teresa of Avila, Spain in 1562. Pioneers Mother Josephine Mary of the Protection of the BVM, Srs Mariana of the Angels, Maria Teresa of the Virgin of Pilar, Mary Joseph of the Sacred Heart, Margaret of Jesus, Casilda of St Therese of the Child Jesus and Novice Conception of the Most Blessed Trinity arrived in Jesselton frpm Spain at the invitation of Msgr Wachter on 18 December 1930.

Daughters of St Paul
Founded in Italy on 15 June 1914 by Fr James Alberione and Mother Thecla Merlo for evangelization through the communication media. Pioneers Srs Elizabeth Capello, Eulalia Bravo, Assunta Labay and Virginia Maria Guevarro arrived in Jesselton on 21 Jan 1961 at the invitation of Bishop James Buis. Due to government immigration policies, they had to close down the house in 1971 and the house was sold to the vicariate. On 25 Jan 1989 they returned to Kota Kinabalu with Srs Rosalie Lojiu, Anna Yap and Sylvia George as the pioneers. FSP stands for "Figlie di San Paolo", which means "Daughters of St. Paul" in Latin.

Sisters of the Infant Jesus (IJ)
Founded in France in 1666 by Venerable Fr Nicolas Barre to educate poor girls. Pioneers Srs Olin and Eugenie Fernandez came to Keningau on 7 April 1996. Sr Celestine Tham came to help out in Montfort Youth Training Centre in Donggongon on 1 July 2004 when the MYTC started to take in poor girls.
